How do I find an instructor near me?
Open the app, allow location access, and you'll see licensed instructors in your area. Filter by price, rating, and availability to find your match.
Is LaneMentor free to use?
Downloading and browsing is completely free. You only pay for lessons you book, at the instructor's published hourly rate. No hidden platform fees.
Can I cancel or reschedule a lesson?
Yes. Cancel or reschedule from the app at any time. Cancellations more than 24 hours before the lesson are fully refunded. Late cancellations follow the instructor's policy.
What if my instructor cancels?
If your instructor cancels, you receive a full refund immediately and can book with another instructor at no extra cost.
How does the mock exam work?
When you're ready, you can book a mock exam through the app. Three certified instructors from a local pod will conduct the test, giving you a realistic experience before your official exam.

How do I sign up as an instructor?
Download LaneMentor, register, and select "I'm an Instructor". You'll verify your driving instructor licence before your profile goes live.
Is there a cost to list my profile?
Listing is free. LaneMentor takes a small commission only when a lesson is completed — no upfront fees, no monthly subscription.
Can I set my own hourly rate?
Yes, completely. Your rate is yours to decide and update at any time. Students see it clearly before booking.
When and how do I get paid?
Once a lesson completes, the payment is credited to your in-app earnings balance. Withdraw to your bank account any time — no minimum, no scheduled payout date.

What payment methods are accepted?
All major credit and debit cards are accepted via Stripe. Your card details are encrypted and never stored on LaneMentor servers.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. All payments are processed by Stripe, one of the world's most trusted payment platforms. LaneMentor never stores your card details.
How do refunds work?
Refunds for eligible cancellations are processed immediately and return to your original payment method within 3–5 business days, depending on your bank.
